Flukes

Updated: 1 day ago

Flukes are a type of flatworm that invade the blood, intestines, liver, bile ducts and lungs. Symptoms can include abdominal pain, indigestion, diarrhea, constipation & liver dysfunction. They tend to come from eating raw or undercooked fish & other seafood.

They have leaf-like shaped bodies but dehydrate when they die so they'll look like dried up tomato or pepper skins in your stool. Their lifespan can extend 25-30 if left untreated.

If you have liver or digestive dysfunction, we should chat to see if parasite cleansing may make sense for you. Click here to learn more about parasite cleansing.
