Tips to minimize risk of concussion/brain injury for athletes

My son plays tackle football. People ALWAYS ask me if I worry about brain injury. While no sport is injury free, football players take a regular beating no doubt.

There are some things you can do to minimize your risk. This is what we do:

👉 Regular heavy metal detox (click here to see what I use). Why this is important:

When aluminum or mercury enters the body it's surrounded by white blood cells. WBC's can't eliminate the metals like they would a virus and the metals end up accumulating in tissues over time. When your immune system is activated by a major event like a brain injury, surgery, illness, pregnancy or other major stressor it signals the WBC's for help... which could be bound to these metals. Once metals are in the part of your body that needs help, another signal is called out for more WBC's... which in turn brings in more metals.

This explains why athletes get CTE - constant inflammation in the brain continues to lure in more white blood cells that are hoarding a lifetime of aluminum toxicity to the point of neurological damage.

👉 Regular chiropractic care. Maintaining proper alignment reduces inflammation, promotes proper blood flow, boosts athletic performance and fosters quicker recovery. Misalignments in the spine can contribute to concussion symptoms. Regular adjustments relieve the cranial and cervical nerves that can get damaged in the sports related injuries that cause concussion symptoms.

👉 Take magnesium. Magnesium aids in over 400 metabolic functions in the body but it's great for muscle recovery and rest. Not only does my son take magnesium (specifically magnesium l-threonate because of its impact on the brain/cognition) but he takes epsom salt baths regularly as well, especially after big practices and games.

👉 Reduce EMF radiation. Most people have no idea how EMF"s are contributing to their fatigue, headaches/migraines, insomnia and other health issues. I unplug our WIFI router before bed, devices go into airplane mode and are at least 6 ft from our beds to help ensure our sleep is restorative. All devices also have EMF stickers on them.

👉 Take humic & fulvic acids. These boost mitochondrial function, which are the powerhouse of your cells and also aid in detox. We use CellCore's BC-ATP because it can aid in both athletic and cognitive performance.
